This is a elegant and classy coin caddy for quarters, nickels, pennies and dimes. There are two versions. One with 3" tubes and one with 6" tubes. Both use the same base. I printed these on Prusa MK3 using PLA (green) and also one with PETG (clear/white) using a 0.4mm extruder. The STL files include a base as well as two options for coin tubes.
I used the yellow and white 3" version of this literally every single day for pocket change!
Yup, that's a Puzzometry puzzle in the background! Those are cool, fun and unique puzzles for Makers just like YOU!
This item is a *.STL file that allows you to 3D Print your own coin holder.
Your download will be a Zip file. Unzip it and use the resulting STL file in the Slicer software for your 3D Printer.
Keep in mind that I did the CAD in inches, but most Slicer software operates in metric (millimeters). You may have to scale your print 2540% in all 3 dimensions to get the item to print to the correct size. (25.4mm = 1 inch).
After scaling, the final dimensions of the BASE will be: 127mm x 50.8mm x 38.1 mm
After scaling, the final dimension of the 3" tube will be: 107.82mm x 28.83mm x 78.74 mm
After scaling, the final dimension of the 6" tube will be: 107.82mm x 28.83mm x 154.94
I also have many other cool STL Files, please check the "3D Prints" menu item at the top of the page!
